Arms manufacturers Aselsan and Tubitak, or the Turkish Council for Research and Technology, are developing a new type of light-guided bomb. During the test using the F-16 fighter, the ammunition managed to hit the target 65 km away, and penetrated a concrete slab 1 meter thick. This new type of bomb will later be used as an arsenal for attack drones and will be available in both penetrating and high-explosive warhead variants, reports Defense24.
