The H145M is a lightweight multi-role and attack helicopter which Airbus says it is sufficient to fulfill most needs of any air force. The H145M can come equipped with the H-Force system and can integrate several types of weapons, including cannon rounds, unguided rockets, anti-tank missiles and, in the future, even air-to-air missiles.
Right now, the H145M is used by the German Special Forces and is also being produced for Hungary and Serbia, a customer who even wanted to integrate it’s own weapon systems on the aircraft.
Is the H145M really an attack helicopter though? Why would someone pick it instead of other more specialized helicopters out there? What are it’s key advantages? Find out in this video I shot at the Airbus factory in Donauwörth, Germany, as part of a video-report I did for HotNews.ro.
