Hi all. Welcome to today’s exciting video as I travel from London Gatwick to Guernsey on-board Aurigny Air Services and their only Embraer E195 jet. This aircraft was delivered to Aurigny in 2014 and has been used primarily on the Guernsey to London Gatwick route!
I have flown Aurigny before on their E195, so make sure to check out that video too. But today, I was sitting in a different seat and checking out the flight from a different perspective.
Today’s flight began at London Gatwick Airport very early in the morning as my flight was at 8:35am. As I waited at the gate, I had great views of the aircraft taxiing in, which can be seen in the video. It turns out that two captains were flying this sector as well as a first officer in the jump seat, probably learning their way around the E195 before flying it in the future.
We pushed back on time, however we had to wait over 15 minutes on the taxiway due to the large volume of traffic at Gatwick. Overall the flight was pleasant as always. Weather was was also great so we had great views of Alderney and Guernsey as we arrived in.
This flight was part of my 3-flight journey that day. I was on my way to Guernsey to fly on Loganair’s first Embraer ERJ-145 flight from the island up to Edinburgh. As well as this, I later had a flight back down to Gatwick in the evening with British Airways on one of their Airbus A319’s. All trip reports will be found on my channel so make sure to check them out!
I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, make sure to Like, Comment and Subscribe for more videos!
