The vast majority of American’s fleet has been repainted into the “new” 2013 livery, however there are still a few ERJ-140’s still left in the old tri-bar livery. These E140’s operate for Envoy Air/American Eagle and are the only actual old livery planes still in the fleet. Champaign has been lucky to get a few of these every now and then from DFW and CLT. Sadly, this was the final time this particular E140, N805AE, would visit CMI. More info below.

This aircraft was stored from 2014-2018. It returned to service in October 2018 but then due to the pandemic, it was stored again from March 27th to May 31st, 2020, before returning to service again. This was short-lived as on August 6th, this aircraft will be ferried to Marana, AZ for retirement.
