#OTD in 2008: British Airways Flight 38, a B-777, suffers dual engine failure short of the runway in London Heathrow (UK), caused by ice contamination. The crew manages to crash land at the airport. Only 9 of 152 onboard were injured, in the first-ever crash of a Boeing 777.
