Yesterday El Al Israel Airlines made their last commercial Boeing 747 flight. The 747, registration 4X-ELC, operating the flight from Rome to Tel Aviv, descended to 10000 feet near Cyprus, and made a flightpath which turned out to be a drawing of a Boeing 747. How cool is that! A very nice way of El Al to say goodbye to their Boeing 747 after operating different versions of the Queen Of The Skies for almost 50 years. I wasn’t so fortunate to see the El Al 747s a lot. I only caught one once at Amsterdam Schiphol which was 4X-ELC back in 2014. But during my trip to Barcelona, I caught one twice! This is 4X-ELA in action during its final month of operation for the Israeli airline. Enjoy!
