JustPlanes resumes its “Boston Today” series where we cover our local airport when something interesting comes in. Today we cover 3 things :
AZORES AIRLINES which had been absent for a number of months resumed Airbus A321LR service into Boston today coming in from Ponta Delgada.
KLM which normally served Boston with 3 Airbus A330 flights a week now seems to be operating a number of Boeing 777 flights for cargo. Today we had 2 KLM 777s on the ground at the same time, be it only for a minute. Notice the departing KLM plane bound for Amsterdam must have been empty as it used nearly no runway to liftoff.
BRITISH AIRWAYS is the highlight of this video as today was the inaugural Airbus A350-1000 flight to Logan Airport. The last year we’ve seen the Airbus A380, Boeing 747, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 on the London Heathrow route, this is the first time we get the A350 on the London route.
