In this video, we look at a British Airways flight from Edinburgh to London Heathrow on an Airbus A320-200.
British Airways have recently introduced a Business Class (also known as Club Europe) cabin on to their domestic routes. The benefits at the airport include priority check-in, priority baggage, fast track security and access to the local British Airways Lounge. I review the Edinburgh lounge in extensive detail, covering aspects such as the lounge layout, seating, business facilities, dining area/buffet and so forth.
When it comes time for boarding, I use the priority boarding lane for Club Europe passengers. Once on board, I head to my seat where I thoroughly review the Business Class product. Essentially it’s an Economy Class seat but with the middle seat blocked out so you don’t directly sit next to anyone. This also guarantees an aisle or window seat on the flight.
The flight is only 1 hours and 25 minutes long. As soon as we reach cruising altitude, a light refreshment meal is served. I select the “traditional Plougman’s” meal, which I found tasty and filling. Of note, the flight does not have any in-flight entertainment system or WiFi available.
On arrival at London Heathrow, I pick up my baggage before taking a taxi to the hotel.
