As VFR flights have been recently back allowed in Belgium during the COVID-19 crisis, I’m headed back in to the air. Today I’m flying a new airplane type: the Piper Lance II. While I’m already complex endorsed, the Lance is by far the most performing type I’ve flown. On departure, the landing gear does not retract. What would you do, in a busy airspace and a fast new type?
