My son was given this Carl Goldberg Piper Cub as a gift. The friend’s uncle built it years ago and stored it in an attic for many years. Knowing my son’s love of model aviation, it was a great gift.

This is my son’s solo flight on the recently restored/converted Cub.

  • Will you share the power setup on the next podcast? I have one of those to be built and would love to know how you modified it. He looked like a very focused young man. Too kool little man

  • Too funny! I just pulled the exact same aircraft out of my attic to refurbish.Goldberg anniversary, 25 years old at least. Can you tell me how many millimeters you placed CG back from leading edge at wings root. Also, what was your finish wait all up.
    Your kid rips!
