Some of you may know, my ambitions don’t really lie in the pursuit of being an Airline pilot so when Nathan and I got a chance to fly into the Sydney International Airport YSSY from Bankstown YSBK I did feel like it truly could be a once in a lifetime experience.

Well, surely it will be maybe the first and last time in a single-engine piston aircraft.

In this little video, it shows us starting up in Bankstown getting clearance and then flying over Port Botany into YSSY where we landed and taxied around for about 15 minutes. You can see in the video there were some nerves in the cockpit and a few little mistakes that were made, but that comes with the territory doing something like this. I must take my hat off to Nathan who planned everything including getting the slot booked and researched the procedures, I was a complete passenger.

Unfortunately, Nathans headset died when we were on the taxi apron in Bankstown so you will not hear much from me (A blessing or a curse, depending on how you look at it) please let me know if you like this video as I will make more like it if so!

Tail winds to you!
