Today we’re taking the TBM 930 up into the flight levels to demonstrate the kind of performance that only comes from the world’s fastest single engine turboprop (and to test my fear of heights). We put its climb to the test, going to FL300, just a thousand feet short of its maximum service ceiling.
This flight was an absolute blast, but equally exciting was learning step by step how to start this monster of an engine from steps A-Z.
