This video is a recap of our flight to Mackinac Island for a weekend getaway. In fact, this getaway was organized by COPA (Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association).

Mackinac Island is tiny island at the northern tip of Michigan very close to Canada. It is unique in that there are no motorized vehicles allowed. However, they have a small airport, which is operated by the National Park Service.

The flight route had us flying over Lake Erie through Canada on the way to Michigan.

This place should be on every pilot’s bucket list.
