Reuters reports that a private jet crashed near a small airport outside of Atlanta on Thursday, killing everyone on board. FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said that the Cessna Citation 560 aircraft went down shortly after 12:00pm EST approximately 1.5 miles from Fulton County Airport-Brown Field on the west side of Atlanta. Bergen said early indications show that there were three people on board the aircraft. In an image that was posted to Twitter, firefighters had extinguished the flames in the field that held the wreckage and were checking the surrounding area to see if anyone on the ground was injured.
