We try out some Freeware scenery, Machmell Fisheries (CBY2) and Quatam River Airport (CQRA) in the Cessna Caravan 208B for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Whilst in flight I discuss the upcoming release of VR and the HP Reverb G2 virtual reality headset. Will VR require the recent Nvidia 30 series graphic cards that have just been released? Which one for MSFS?

  • Join me for another bush flight…and I take the opportunity to review VR release dates for MSFS as well as speculate on the new Nvidia series 30 graphic cards. Thanks for watching.

  • You shouldn't ignore the engine warning signs, especially not at take off. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You will still have enough power for TO, when staying within the limits. The trick is to push the throttle lever forward SLOWLY.
Also, the first lights to turn on are the Nav lights. Beacon lights are only turned on right before engine start. Nav lights are also those to be switched off as the last ones.
Anyway, a very nice video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Great video Mark, I enjoy your contents. As a suggestion, have a look at @missionarybushpilot. He runs a fast growing vlog of his work in Papua New Guinea PNG. For example, a flight from Chimbu AYCH back to base in Goroka AYGA (or pick grass strips in the mountains). Flying through the gaps and over the rivers makes for a great video.

  • Great video and thank you for sharing this flight idea. I flew it tonight with some friends and it was amazing! keep up the great work

  • Always enjoy finding your vid's posted Mark. Hope to fly with you some day when I get a manmachine pc. Oh my gosh, really??? That electric tow guy is lurking around even in Machmell?? Thats getting ridiculous! Isnt Asobo going to fix that ground crew dude? Good to hear about the VR coming but sad about the 3080's issues. Im in Abbotsford, east of Vancouver and our local bchelicopter guy on here regularly flies students up into the mountains, onto glaciers etc. Check them out for stunning bc scenery. Even our friend Prgmr and Wonky Joystick have flown these areas.

  • Nice and relaxing as allways ๐Ÿ™‚ also i saw you most likely destroying that engine a couple of times :p wait for ng to stabilize before introducing fuel, and dont overtorque the engine ๐Ÿ˜‰ turboprops are a whole different thing than being a piston jockey ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Hi Marc, I lived the video, as I actually think slow and low is where the fun is in simming. Unfortunately, my rig is not ready for MSFS2020 yet, so I continue on FSX. But I would love to see some videos from you flying around the Hawaiian islands, particularly Kauai and Maui, they have a fantastic landscape and even on FSX it looks great already!
