😅Yes, that has been one of the smallest members of Cathay Pacific’s fleet, a Learjet 45, registration VH-CXJ. It was operated and maintained by BAE Systems Flight Training (Australia) at Parafield in Adelaide.
This twin-engine high performance jet used to give cadet pilots a feel of what it is like to fly a “real” commercial airliner and to learn more on multi-crew operations before they get into line training.
In late 2005, Cathay’s Learjet 45 was no longer used for training as the advanced training would then take place in the simulators.
